Bodegas Piqueras praises the ongoing commitment displayed by its staff faced with the exceptional situation caused by the coronavirus outbreak in Spain. In response to the increased sales of its wines both domestically and internationally, the winery has increased production and rewarded the relentless commitment of its workforce by increasing the wages of all employees at the winery and in the vineyards for the duration of the official state of alarm.
Juan Pablo Bonete, who oversees production at Bodegas Piqueras, wants to highlight the “professionalism, commitment and effort” shown by every member of the team in recent weeks. Similarly, he emphasizes that, although the winery continues to work as normal, “all the appropriate safety, hygiene and protection measures to protect the workforce” have been put in place.
Additionally, as part of its commitment alongside society as a whole to overcome this health crisis, Bodegas Piqueras has been contributing to the general disinfection of the streets of Almansa in recent weeks, putting three tractor atomizers with a capacity of 7000 litres at the disposal of the city. We are all working shoulder-to-shoulder so that we can get back to normality as quickly as possible and overcome this health crisis all together.
