GRAPE: 100% Syrah
D.O.P.: ALMANSA
VINEYARDS: Single estate of 110 hectares. 700-800 metres above sea level, organic farming, soils poor in nutrients and rich in limestone, low rainfall.
VINIFICATION: Syrah grapes are selected from organically grown vines with a high amount of leaves per vine, to preserve the high acidity and freshness of the grapes. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested at night in the last week of August, macerated with the skins for 12 hours to extract colour and aromas, then fermented at low temperature for 20 days.
Tasting Note
Smooth and harmonious wine, with the intense colour typical of Almansa D.O. rosés. Perfect balance between body/structure/acidity. Long, frank and persistent finish.
Gastronomy
The freshness, ripe red fruit aromas and smoothness of this dry rosé wine make it perfect to serve with rice and pasta dishes, grilled seafood and fish, spicy food, fresh summer savouries and cheese. To enjoy with food or simply on its own.
It is recommended to serve at 6º-8º C.
