El Picoteo White

GRAPE: 50% Verdejo – 50% Sauvignon Blanc


VINEYARDS: Single estate of 110 hectares, 700-800 metres above sea level, organic farming methods, soils poor in nutrients and rich in limestone, low rainfall.

AGE: 3-4 months on fine lees with periodic bâtonnage.

VINIFICATION: Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, originating from our cooler altitude vineyards, are carefully selected and harvested at night during the last two weeks of August, followed by fermentation at low temperature for more than 30 days.

Tasting Note

Refreshing, medium-bodied white wine with intense citrus, chalky and tropical notes. Long and persistent finish. Ideal as a between-dinner drink or aperitif.


It goes perfectly with dishes such as grilled salmon, cooked scallops, chicken, rice dishes or a fresh summer salad.

It is recommended to serve chilled, between 6-8º C.
