GRAPE: 100% Garnacha Tintorera
VINEYARDS: 900-950 metres above sea level, 30-40 years old, dry farming with organic farming certificate, sandy-clay soil poor in nutrients, low rainfall.
VINIFICATION: Garnacha Tintorera grape native to the Almansa wine region, unique in its kind due to the great pigmentation of its dark purple flesh. It comes from dry-farmed vines 30 to 40 years old. The grapes are harvested by hand from the third week of September. Cold pre-maceration for 5 days to give the wine more colour, freshness and fruity aromas. Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel tanks for 5 days on the skins to preserve the fruit and soften the tannins.
Intense and vibrant colour, the main characteristic of Garnacha Tintorera, blackcurrant, sweet strawberry, raspberry and sage. In the mouth we find a wine that, despite not having wood, is medium-bodied, persistent, evoking memories of ripe plums, black pepper and herbs.
Enjoy this red wine on its own or with grilled dishes, roasts, fried meats, red meats, rice dishes, cold meats and soft cheeses.
It is recommended to serve between 16-18º C.
